Budget process complete.

Governor Corzine signed the $32.9 billion state budget on Monday this
week, saying that the spending cuts contained therein were “historic” and “painful.”  The NJDA felt its share of that pain.  While the Department was not abolished, as originally proposed, it did sustain deep cuts to its budget.

The mission of the New Jersey Farm Bureau is to represent agricultural producers and enterprises at all levels of government - local, state, federal and international. This representation includes the influence of regulations and laws, the creation of positive public relations, and the seeking out of initiatives, activities and ventures to help the profitability of the producer members. This organization will remain faithful to the democratic process managed by representatives from every part of the state.
