Budget process complete.
Governor Corzine signed the $32.9
billion state budget on Monday this
week, saying that the spending cuts contained therein were
“historic” and “painful.” The NJDA felt its share of that
pain. While the Department was not abolished, as
originally proposed, it did sustain deep cuts to its budget.
