Participation in New Jersey Farm Bureau comes in 7 different ways.

| 3 | Corporate/Agribusines members | Farmers/Ag-related | Farmer’s employees, industry related jobs, etc |
| 4 | Associate Members | Ag-related individual | Farmer’s employees, industry related jobs, etc |
| 5 | Friends of Agriculture | Open to the general public | Those that want to support Farm Bureau to preserve local quality of life, tax base stability, farmland preservation, locally grown produce, open space, and other important issues… along with some participation benefit discounts. |
| 6 | Students | Open to Students | Actively enrolled in High school, or College |
| 7 | Students-FFA | High School Seniors or higher and membership in FFA | High School Seniors or higher and membership in FFA |
